Dining at the Civic Centre

These photos were taken in the dining room at Hounslow Civic Centre (home to Hounslow Council). On the tables were leaflets regarding “reducing your carbon footprint – time is running out”.
Alongside this food was being served into polystyrene containers which cannot be recycled.
Therefore BRAG decided that something needed to change. BRAG took it on board and now there are reusable lunch boxes for sale at the food counter.

We took a trip on a narrow boat from Brentford to Hanwell flight and came across people examining what can happen to someone who falls into the lock.

King’s Cross Skip Garden

Paul started up his own gardening business and took on a project to produce gardens in skips on a small piece piece of derelict land between St Pancras and Kings Cross station. Ruk was assigned to make a mobile to fly on the site made from plastic bags and a bamboo stick. Many educational school parties come to visit. This site will eventually disappear when the land is developed.
