Noticeboard:  Virginia has produced a fabulous collage/poster promoting love food hate waste for the noticeboard.  Hugh has agreed to post it very soon. Well done, both of you! HP VF

4

Cotton Bag Project: Delivery was made and we were able to distribute some (to the speakers and guests) at the AGM.  The general consensus was that they are splendid! Well done all of us!  We will discuss how to promote their distribution and use at our next meeting. Douglas has obtained some stencils for visitors to the stall to apply art work to the reverse of the bags! ALL

5

AGM 2013: Agreed it was a great success.  It was good to have an update from Natasha and Thomas – all progress – and really valuable to meet Camen Gupta from Healthy Planet and, as we have come to expect, Paul excelled himself!

6

BRENTFORD MARKET: This is still a success and special Christmas Markets will take place in the next few weeks.  Please continue to support every Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. We plan to take a stall there again in the not too distant future and promote our bags. ALL

7

No plastic bags initiative – Olivers of Kew Village. Douglas has agreed to find their views of their scheme not to use plastic bags in their shops. He will ask Sara Novakovic of Olivers and let us know. Bring forward to next meeting. DB

8

No Spitting/Anti Litter campaign: Following a recent petition Catharine has followed up with an email to check what actions LBH will take and is waiting for a response following the usual holding reply. Still no news but perhaps there will be by the next meeting. CB

9

Brentford Dock Management: Hugh advised that Sam Langton will be leaving her current position in the New Year.  Agreed thanks and appreciation of all her help to us in the past and her success and happiness in the future to be sent. PH

10

Christmas Craft Fair: in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care will be held at the Brentford Dock Residents Club Room on Saturday 7 December from 12 – 4:30.  ALL ARE WELCOME.  Hugh will promote our bags there. ALL
