|4||Marie Curie Coffee Mornings: These continue to be held successfully every month in the Brentford Dock club room to raise funds. The next one will be on Monday 19th October from 10:30 to 12:30. This is a very pleasant way to spend a Monday morning – and the proceeds go to a very good cause. Please attend if you can!||ALL|
|5||BRENTFORD FESTIVAL 2015: Sunday, 6th September. This was an excellent event! The weather really brightened up in the afternoon so a great number of people came along. We gave away many bags and children had a great time painting them – ably assisted and instructed by Wendy and Douglas! Paul’s wormery attracted great interest as usual, so thank you to everyone who helped!||ALL|
|6||CLAYPONDS ESTATE FUN DAY: We took part on Saturday 12th September and gave away more bags. An interesting day!||ALL|
|7||FOOD WASTE RECYCLING AT TOWN MEADOW: Chelsea and Louisa have been in communication so we will be kept updated. The progress of this project, and others similar, could be a good item for inclusion on our website. (NB. Things are not progressing very quickly at Brentford Dock.) Bring forward to next meeting.||CE LP|
|8||AGM:This will be held on Tuesday 10th November at 7pm. Hugh has very kindly arranged for us to meet in the Brickfield Community Centre, Brickfield Close, Brentford, TW8 8JN, which is the base for Hounslow Community FoodBox, Brentford. (Just behind Majestic Wine, 2-10 London Road). So far we have one confirmed speaker, Paul Richens. Rukmini suggested someone from Friends of the Earth to talk to us about bees – Virginia thought this might be possible. So far, nothing has been heard from LBH so Patti will do her best to contact Louisa and, hopefully, someone will be able to come and tell us about the current situation and future plans for recycling in the borough.
Invitations to be sent, in addition to BRAG members and affiliated groups, to all our ward councillors, Ruth Cadbury, MP, Transition Ealing. This will also be posted on our web site, and Kath asked to add it to the TW8 Newsletter.
