Minutes of last meeting agreed.
Apologies for Absence: Michelle Aspinall-Baker, Paul Richens, Kath Richardson, Chelsea Edwards, Andrew Dakers, Caroline Stewart, Virginia Fassnidge,  Sam Thomas, Canal and River Trust
Noticeboard: Nothing has happened since the last meeting so Patti will continue to pursue and will telephone Martin Barrow of GVA (Bilfinger GVA)

(December minutes: Andy Chaffey, Regional Manager, Morrisons, has asked us to tell them the anticipated cost of purchase and installation of a replacement noticeboard. We consulted with Rachel Victor-Sampson, Town Manager , who has since left LBH, who advised us to contact Martin Barrow, who is the surveyor for the area of Market Square where we might like to position the board. Wendy has researched a couple of companies who supply the kind of board we had so now are just waiting for some costings so that we can go back to Morrisons.)

Marie Curie Coffee Mornings: These continue to be held successfully every month in the Brentford Dock club room to raise funds. The next one will be on Monday 15th February from 10:30 to 12:30.  Please attend if you can! Good cause to support. ALL
FOOD WASTE RECYCLING AT TOWN MEADOW: Chelsea is now in touch with Cllr. Guy Lambert who has said he will push the food waste agenda and hopefully something will happen.  Chelsea will keep us posted.  Meantime, there have been problems with the Brentford Dock food waste collections but resolution is in hand. 7 WHERE DOES RECYCLING GO?: We agreed to wait a little while before we endeavour to make arrangements to visit a recycling centre. LBH arranged for us to make a tour of Grundon’s some years ago so we’ll solicit their help. Discuss with Recycling Team at LBH when they are under less pressure re the Wheelie bin roll out. (When we get our new noticeboard this could be a good topic for a display.) PH
CLEAN FOR THE QUEEN: in celebration of the Queen’s 90th birthday this year, Rukmini alerted us to an award which is proposed for a “naming and shaming” project for the “10 most filthy places”. All the details are here: http://www.cleanforthequeen.co.uk/home/2365 RW
RECYCLING IN FLATS: Joanna drew to our attention the lack of any recycling facility at Brook Court in Brook Road South.  Patti has asked LBH to look into it but they are very busy right now – it seems we should contact Matthew Williamson of the Recycling team to whom Anna Humphries has forwarded our enquiry.  Follow up.
