On Wednesday, 10 February, a new pop-up shop and community space will be opening at noon in Brentford, sponsored by the London Sustainability Exchange and Friends of Cathja. The venue, at 129-130 High Street, Brentford TW8 8EW (next to the Magpie and Crown pub), will act as a charity shop for local organisation Cathja, but will also be a space for the community to use to put on workshops or just have a cup of tea.
The organisers are looking for people who might like to use the space to put on activities, and also anyone who has a few hours they could volunteer to help running it.
Get in touch or come along on the day to find out more.
London Sustainability Exchange will also be there with an illustrator to find out about residents’ aspirations for the shop and for Brentford. It will then hold an Cathja action planning day in the space on 20 February at 2-4pm in order to activate those aspirations and ideas!
