3 Noticeboard and questions for LBHList of questions which was sent to Councillors last month was also taken up personally with Steve Curran at his last surgery on 18th June. He said he would speak to the Recycling Team and arrange for someone to contact us.  Nothing happened so Hugh contacted Steve again and asked for a date when he can meet Patti and Hugh to resolve the issues. Regarding the noticeboard and Morrisons, Rukmini had a conversation with the current Manager of Morrisons, Brentford and obtained his email address.  Email sent to him on 4 September.  In the meantime, a reply has been received from Customer Services in response to Patti’s email to a senior officer at Morrisons Head Office and this will be followed up by a telephone call. 6 Where does recycling go? We would like to make a visit to a recycling plant and will see if we can arrange something in the future.  The LBH website has quite comprehensive information about recycling and recycled items if we have any queries. ALL
7 Recycling in Flats: Since nothing has been heard from the recycling team or the ward councillors we will pursue recycling facilities at Brook Court and Braemar Court in Brook Road South, and Downside Walk as soon as we can. Hopefully, Steve Curran might have some answers when we meet. PH  HP
8 Brentford Festival: This was held on Sunday 4th September in Blondin Park, as last year.

Paul brought his wormery which, as usual, created a great deal of interest.  We have given away nearly all the ”no plastic innit” bags, and used a great deal of paint! The children (and adults!) had a great time with the stencils!  A considerable success!

9 Canal clear up: Peter Meakin organised a clean up along the canal path from the bridge near the GSK HQ to the Lock on August 29th, Bank Holiday Monday. Many volunteers – who were rewarded with free food and drink afterwards! – took part, and it was a very successful project.

Ideas and recommendations to be discussed at a later meeting. ALL
