1 Minutes of last meeting agreed.
2 Apologies for Absence: Paul Richens, Andrew Dakers, Sheila Churchill, Kath Richardson, Sam Thomas, Canal and River Trust
3 Noticeboard:  Issues regarding planning permission to install an additional noticeboard in the selected site.  Hugh is in discussion with Steve Curran. Update next meeting. HP
4 Marie Curie Coffee Mornings: These continue to be held every month in the Brentford Dock club room to raise funds for Marie Curie. The next one will be on Monday 19th March from 10:30 to 12:30.   All are welcome! ALL
5 Soup Lunches: Also held at Brentford Dock club room on the 4th Thursday of every month from 1:00 to 2:30, next one 22nd March. Tasty, healthy homemade soup, bread and cake! ALL
6 Restart Project:   Next event will probably take place in April/May at Cathja on the High Street.  Information notices will be posted in the library and on the BRAG and TW8 websites. Further information about the Restart Project may be found at: https://therestartproject.org/RestartParty/ ALL
7 Repair Tips: We have heard some very useful tips on how to repair all sorts of items.  It was suggested that we might make a feature of these and post them on the website. So please submit any ideas along with links to websites where applicable. ALL

Wednesday 18th April: “Brief Encounters on the Refugee Trail” by Matthew Price, Chief Correspondent for BBC’s Today programme

Wednesday 9th May: “Current issues relating to Brexit” by Chuka Umunna M.P.

All lectures will take place in St Saviour’s Church, Cobbold Road. W12 9LN, 8.00-9.00pm. Refreshments will be available from 7.40pm. Entrance free, donations are welcome.

9 Southall Lane Recycling Centre Open Day: Come along to the brand new Materials Handling Facility visits to which are being arranged to take place this Saturday, 10 March.

Apologies from LBH for the short notice but if you are interested please contact communications@hounslow.gov.uk. Since November last year, all of Hounslow’s household recycling has transferred to this state-of-the-art facility where it is sorted and dispatched to preprocessors.
The facility is likely to process in excess of 16,000 tonnes in its first year of operation, with further capacity for the future.

The FREE open day is open to all, during four, 45 minute sessions, limited to 40 people in each group. The first group will be admitted from 10am, with the final group admitted at 2pm. The session will include a tour, a presentation and a chance to ask questions. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

10 Brentford Dock Bi-Monthly lectures: The next one of these very interesting events will be held in the Residents Club Room at 14:30 on Thursday 15th March.  The Speaker will be Sam Thomas, London Customer Operations Manager, Canal and River Trust, with his very lively pitch about the waterways around Brentford.
