Don’t miss the Brentford Festival and Tidefest on 2 September

The annual Brentford and Tidefest Festivals will take place on Sunday, 2 September.

The Brentford Festival began in 2005 and has grown into a major community event in West London, with visitors numbers rising from 3,000 to more than 10,000. The festival takes place in Ealing’s Blondin Park, and runs from 12pm to 6pm. Come along to enjoy live music, food, classic vehicle displays and local craft stalls. See website for details.

BRAG is taking a break from having a stand this year, but you might find some of us at the Ealing Friends of the Earth stand.

Tidefest, which launched in 2014, highlights and celebrates the recreational importance of the Thames Tideway to Londoners. Tidefest includes a wide variety of river-based events in Chiswick, Kew, Brentford, Barnes, and elsewhere along the tidal Thames.  It runs from 9.30am to 5.30pm. See website for details.
