1 Minutes of last meeting agreed.   
2 Apologies for Absence: Paul Richens, Andrew Dakers, Kath Richardson, Sam Thomas,  Sheila Churchill, Cllr. Guy Lambert  
3 Restart Project: Events are continuing to be arranged in many localities. Details of another one to be held in Brentford is in plan, details  will be forthcoming in due course.  Information about this initiative elsewhere may be found at https://therestartproject.org/RestartParty/                                           VF PH
4 Street Care Team, Litter bins: We will continue to campaign for cans and plastic bottles to be separated and recycled from street bins and street cleaning. We must also make every effort to urge a reduction in the amount of plastic which litters our streets and causes so much damage to the environment.  The subject of overflowing litter bins was repeated – we should discuss again with Guy.  ALL
5 Ealing Repair Café: Ealing Reduce, Reuse and Recycle Support Group are a local group run through Facebook to support local residents in living more sustainable lifestyles. They are organising another Repair Cafe for Clothes and Textile Repair and Making on Thursday 17th October 2019  at Northfields Community Centre, Northcroft Road, West Ealing.   Further information will be found at https://queenofthesuburbs.org/events. 6 Brentford Together: (London Sustainability Exchange, Friends of Cathja and Salopian Garden – Cultivate London). Dr Bike sessions are still being held in Brentford Market from 10-1 on the first Sunday of every month and sewing sessions continue on Cathja’s Barge. ALL
7 Great British Spring Clean: Councillor Guy Lambert has made a monthly event on the third Sunday of each month from 10:00 am at varying locations to litter pick. If there is an area you think which could be improved with some action, please let us – and Guy – know. ALL
8 Cathja: We are pleased to hear that Cathja, has now reopened their shop at 3-5 St John’s Road, Isleworth TW7 6NA. Please give them all the support you can – we understand they are looking for saleable items!  
9 Marie Curie Coffee Mornings: These continue to be held every month in the Brentford Dock residents club room to raise funds for Marie Curie. The next one will be on Monday 21st October  from 10:30 to 12:30. The Brentford Dock Residents Association have also started producing brunches on the first Wednesday in the month from 11:00 am. All are welcome!   ALL
10 Soup Lunches: These are held at Brentford Dock club room on the 4th Thursday of every month  1:00 to 2:30, next one Thursday 24th October. Tasty, healthy, homemade soup, bread and cake! ALL
11 Reusable water bottles: Mary brought along an example of a sturdy plastic water bottle she is promoting to replace single use plastic bottles. This is something which is becoming more desirable as so many people carry water about with them wherever they go and places to refill them are becoming more common. ALL
12 AGM: This is due in November but we don’t have any nominations for speakers at present.  We would really like Guy to come and update us on LBH’s work so we’ll see if he could be available before we set a date.  
13 Improv theatre at Brentford and Isleworth Quakers 26th October: This may appeal to some of you!  Brentford and Isleworth Quakers are putting on something a bit different this time.  In this play  we try to imagine a world where social justice, equality and peace applies in public and private life. Full information may be obtained from:  bessie@whiteosterley.demon.co.uk  The show takes place on Saturday 26th October at 7.30pm.  Tickets are free but booking is essential as places are limited.  A suggested donation on the day is £8 per person or what you will.  Booking is through Eventbrite on https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/improv-theatre-show-tickets-73397027485. As most of you know, the Meeting House is in Quakers Lane, London Road, Isleworth TW7 5AZ.  Quakers Lane is next to the Green School.  
14 TW8 Newsletter: This is a really valuable source of local information on which many rely, especially with the limited circulation of local press.  If you do not already receive this weekly, you can obtain information at www.brentfordtw8.com .The publishers are currently finding a reduction in revenue from advertising and are asking if readers would like to make a regular financial contribution to helpit continue.
