BRAG is taking a break in January. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, 4 February, in the meeting room adjacent to the Residents Club Room at Brentford Dock, 1 Augustus Close, Brentford, TW8 8QU. The meeting runs from 7pm to 8pm.

We look forward to seeing you there, and afterwards at Green Drinks at the Magpie and Crown, 128 High Street, Brentford TW8 8EW.

Greener Borough – Addressing the Climate Emergency workshop on 8 October

Hounslow Council wants to create a borough where residents feel proud to live and work and which is clean, green and sustainable.  In June 2019 the borough council declared a climate emergency.  This committed the council to develop a climate emergency action plan by December 2019, setting out how the council will work towards becoming carbon neutral, and ultimately zero carbon, as soon as possible. Litter pick with Councillor Lambert on 21 July

Want to help keep Brentford clean and hang out with your councillor at the same time? Then join Councillor Guy Lambert for a volunteer litter pick at 10am on Sunday, 21 July.

The event will start at St Pauls’ Recreation Ground — entrance by St. Paul’s CoE Primary School, at the bendy bit of St Paul’s/Lateward Roads.  It will cover the park and surrounding footpaths, then Albany Rd to Ealing Rd.

Litter pickers and green Hounslow Highways bags will be provided.
