Friends of the Earth have a stall for the Bee Cause at Abundance London’s annual Fruit Day. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5th 11-3pm at St Michaels & All Angels, Bedford Park (nearest tube station, Turnham Green).
Abundance is a project to harvest the seasonal glut of local fruit (apples, pears, plums, quinces, cherries, grapes…) and make use of it while educating. You can bring your own fruit to add to the fun.
Just a quick reminder to all that Isleworth Spring Fayre is this Sunday.
This year’s Spring Fayre will be taking place from 12noon to 4pm on Sunday 6th May 2012, and it will be held once again at The Old Isleworthians’ Memorial Ground, Wood Lane, Isleworth TW7 5ED.
It’s going to be a great afternoon with stalls, food, fun and games, with the stage hosted by Radio Jackie, and lots more. There’s definitely going to be something for everyone. See what went on last year and find out how you can get involved this year. We’re looking for stalls, activities, prizes, performers, volunteers, caterers, sponsors… All sorts!
Isleworth Spring Fayre is a community initiative, and an excellent opportunity to raise your profile, promote your business, raise funds for your organisation, or just make good local contacts and meet local people. At the same time it’s a fun event celebrating all things great about Isleworth and its surrounding areas.

The Brentford May Fayre took place on St Paul’s Recreation Ground.
It was a lovely sunny day wtih people meandering about the park, getting their faces painted, eating, drinking and talking to neighbours.
