| 4 | Marie Curie Coffee Mornings: These continue to be held successfully every month in the Brentford Dock club room to raise funds. The next one will be on Monday 16th November from 10:30 to 12:30. A Christmas tea is planned for Sunday 29th November from 1:00 to 4:00 pm – no doubt there will be very delicious mince pies and Christmas cake! And a raffle and the usual tombola. Please attend if you can! Good cause to support. | ALL |
| 7 | FOOD WASTE RECYCLING AT TOWN MEADOW: Chelsea and Louisa have been in communication. At this meeting they agreed that Louisa would arrange for the relevant information to be provided to Chelsea for her to present to the management team at Town Meadow. (According to Hugh, the food waste collection plans are not progressing very quickly at Brentford Dock.) | CE LP |
| 8 | AGM: This will be held on Tuesday 10th November at 7pm at the Brickfield Community Centre, Brickfield Close, Brentford, TW8 8JN, which is the base for Hounslow Community FoodBox, Brentford. (Situated just behind Majestic Wine, 2-10 London Road). Louisa will represent Hounslow Council’s recycling team to bring us up to date with current and prospective future arrangements and Paul Richens will give us an illustrated talk “Organic vs. Non-organic”. | HP PH VF RW |
| 9 | Louisa Perkins: We were very sorry to hear that Louisa is leaving the LBH Recycling team after being such an excellent representative and a tremendous asset to BRAG. We all wish her every success in the future and good fortune on her prospective travels. Our final farewell will be at the AGM. She tells us that one of her colleagues, Anna Humphries, will be our contact at LBH in the future. We shall look forward to welcoming her at a future meeting. |
