3 | Noticeboard: Hugh discussed this matter again with Steve Curran and he has assured that a noticeboard will be provided in a suitable position next to the wall alongside Xavi. The LBH officer is hoping this might be installed by Christmas. | |
4 | Marie Curie Coffee Mornings: These continue to be held every month in the Brentford Dock club room to raise funds. The next one will be on Monday 18th December from 10:30 to 12:30. All are welcome! | ALL |
5 | Soup Lunches: Also held at Brentford Dock club room on the 4th Thursday of every month from 1:00 to 2:30, next one 28th December will be a special Christmas event! | ALL |
6 | Restart Project: The first Restart Party was held on Saturday 25th November and was a great success. Several people brought small electrical/electronic items of equipment to the space which was provided at the premises of Cathja on Brentford High Street. Future parties will be held at the same venue, the next one probably next spring. Information notices will be posted in the library and on the BRAG and TW8 websites. 7 | Disability Network, Hounslow: The fundraising three course Harvest Dinner was held on Saturday 18th November at the Star Centre, 63 – 65 Bell Road, Hounslow and was successful and great fun! 11 | Annual General Meeting: This was held on Tuesday 21st November at 7:00 in the Brickfield Community Centre, Brickfield Close, Brentford, TW8 8JN and was probably the best ever! The speakers had a variety of subjects which were all very interesting and valuable. So thank you to them all, and the three Council officers who gave up their evening to bring us up to date and answer our questions. | ALL |
