In March 2002, Paul and Andrew from BRAG, along with Natasha from the Council Recycling Team, took part in two training days organised by www.wastewatch.org.uk and Recycling Consortium (now defunct) as part of the www.londonremade.com ‘Community Action for Training’ programme. The days took place in Bexleyheath and Bromley and explained how local community groups can adopt reduction, reuse and recycling policies as a part of their work programme. The seminars also showed local authorities how they can benefit from community action on waste.
